RECOUNT TEXT : STUDY TOUR IN MALANG-BALI

    Last month, our school hold study tour to Malang-Bali. We were there for five days. We got many precious experiences during the study tour.

First day: Friday, 9 December 2016

In the afternoon I went to school. After that, at 16.00 we left school by bus. Our school rent 3 bus. We went trip to Malang, East Java.  At bus, my friend and I had coffe break and we were very happy because we sang together. Mr. Anton told us a few experiences of our senior class. At 19.00 we dinner in Taman Sari Colomadu Restaurant and did our prayer there. Then, we continued trip to Malang. At night, we slept like usual.

Second day: Saturday, 10 December 2016

In the morning we arrived at transito place. The view of montain was so beautiful there. The air was so cold. The view of montain was beside the toilet. I entered to the toilet before many people stood in long line there. So, I took a bath before the adjust. I felt so lucky.

After that, my friends and I took photos. After that, we had breakfast. We had breakfast in Brawijaya Resto.

Then, we went trip to selecta. And at last, we arrived there. Selecta was a beautiful garden.  It was beautiful panorama. The air was so cold. There were many colorful flowers, cold air, and fishes. We took a few of photos. There my friend and I played skycycle. We paid for 20.000 Rupiah per skycycle.  A skycycle carried 2 people. It was very fun. The beggining was scared, but at the last we enjoyed it.

We left Selecta and we had to picking apples. We went to the place for picking the apples by public transportation (angkot). The way to that place was so extreme, but so fun. Because the seat was full, the tour leader from travel tour and I sat on the door. It was a special experience for me. We were more free to see the landscape outside. There, my friend and I climbed the tree to get some apples. It was very very fun. Beside we got the apples, we could see the beautiful landscape at the treetops. All of the apples were mature. So, we could pick all of the apples, all of shapes and colours. It was harvest at the moment. I was so full.

After that, we went to Ketapang Harbour. The harbour was so crowded. We crossed the bridge to reach the ship. During crossing the bridge we saw many boys swimming and diving to get many coin that people throw. After that, we climbed the stairs. We were at the shiptop.  At the shiptop, we spent our time to talk each other. The view was so cool, we saw sparkling lights like one hundred of fireflies of Gilimanuk Harbour. The atmosphere was so cold, but it wasn’t the big problem.

After that, we arrived at Gilimanuk Harbour. We arrived in Bali Island. We continued our trip to hotel by bus. It took one night by bus .I tried to sleep as soon as possible, but I couldn’t. So I played game in my cell phone before I slept. Next, we went to hotel. Our school rent two hotels. They were Nuansa Hotel and Dewata Hotel. We checked-in at the Nuansa Hotel at midnight. Before we slept we didn’t arrange our things because we were so tired, so we tried to sleep as soon as possible.

Third day: Sunday, 11 December 2016

In the morning, we prepared to trip in Bali Island. I got up after my friend, Dara. The hotel’s toilet devices was broken, so we couldn’t use it. At 06.30 a.m. we had breakfast at Nuansa Hotel. In front of Nuansa Hotel we saw a salesman who sold T-Shirt, ‘sarung’, and many more. His merchandizes were negotiable. I bought two T-Shirt.

In the bus, we met the Bali’s guide. He was very funny. The guide told about Kuta Beach and the bomb tragedy of Bali a few years ago. For the 1st shopping tour, we visited Cening Bagus. I bought some Bali T-Shirt, souvenirs, and snacks of Bali. Next, we visited Kuta Beach.

Then, we went to Kuta Beach by Komotra. There we played water and bought the distinctively souvenirs.  We also took some of pictures. There we also met a tourist who can speak Indonesian. He was so friendly. He asked a photo of us. It was so memorable.

In the afternoon we went to religious service, Puja Mandala Bakti.

Next, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK). There were two statues which were so big. There were Wisnu and his bird, called Garuda. GWK statue had not yet been completed in working on.

Fourth day: Monday, 12 December 2016

In this day, we had breakfast. We shopped in Joger. The line up of Joger was so long and crowded. We stood in line to enter the Joger’s Building about one hour. There, my friend Salsa bought some T-Shirts for her sisters. While I bought a pair of slippers and dream catcher (arts and crafts of the Native American people). We spent our time in Joger about four hours, until in the midday. My friends and I bought drinks there because the weather was hot.

After that, we spent our time on Tanjung Benoa Beach. The sand there was white, different from beach at Java. The panorama was beautiful, especially the sand, I haven’t ever seen before. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very very hot. There were also many games water. Include glassteam boat bottom. It carried 10 people, with price 50.000/ people. My friends and I rent this. My friends and I enjoyed the landscape there. We went to Penyu Island after drove it. There, we saw unique animals such as big turtle, snake, and owl. We felt enjoyable and happy. We also took pictures with a turtle there. After that, we came back by glassteam boat bottom. We had lunch too.

After that, we went to Krisna. It was also crowded there.

We had dinner there. In the afternoon, we directly went to Gilimanuk Harbour for continued our trip to go home.

Fifth day: Tuesday, 13 December 2016

We had breakfast in Restaurant. After that, we continued trip to go home. Finally, we arrived at our school at 15.00 p.m. we were so tired, but happy. We went back home bringing so many amazing memories of Bali-Malang.
